Then like a bird toward Zal his courier ran,To warn Dastan and tell him of the plan:

Two chiefs of Turan come with claw and blade,Their army like a plain with leopards arrayed.

At Hirmund now their forces stand complete;With dinars I have bound their marching feet.

But if you pause a moment in your grief,The foe will win his wish beyond relief.”
