New Naqqali Manga
Tales from Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh, drawn as manga. Black-and-white ink pages carry the story; full-colour pages stop time on a single moment. Every caption is a couplet of the poem itself, in our rhyming English verse, in the order Ferdowsi wrote it.
Each issue tells one tale and is free to read here, page by page. Collected volumes in print will follow.
