Bijan Claims the Jeweled Goblet

From B11.6, Kay Khosrow Honors the Pahlevans. It illustrates B11.6.15–18:

    Then Bijan, son of Giv, sprang to his feet,And swore that savage enemy to meet.
  • B11.6.16
    He seized the robes, the goblet, and the prize,And blessed Khosrow, both glorious and wise:
  • B11.6.17
    “May this crowned head rule long in strength and fame,And may your joy endure while Time bears name.”
  • B11.6.18
    Then he returned and took his former seat,The jeweled goblet held, his prize complete.
