Rostam Wrenches Kulun's Spear

From B2.4, Rostam Brings Kay Qobad from Alborz. It illustrates B2.4.97–100:

    Then Kulun charged; his spear the jowshan found,And tore apart its clasp, the scales unbound.
  • B2.4.98
    But Rostam seized the shaft with iron grip,And Kulun stared to see the spear not slip.
  • B2.4.99
    He wrenched the spear from Kulun’s straining hand,And roared like thunder rolling through the land.
  • B2.4.100
    Then with the spear he struck and raised him high,And planted its butt; Kulun hung awry.
