The Watchman Strikes the Sleeper

From B5.5, Rostam Takes Ulad Captive. It illustrates B5.5.12–16:

B5.5.12
Like lion then upon the grass he lay,And gave his weary limbs to sleep that day.
B5.5.13
The watchman saw the charger in the grain,And hurried toward the sleeper in disdain.
B5.5.14
He struck the hero’s foot with sudden force,And cursed both sleeping man and grazing horse.
B5.5.15
He woke him, crying Ahriman by name,Then turned on Rakhsh and laid the fault and blame.
B5.5.16
“Why loose your steed among another’s toil? Why let him graze and trample planted soil?”
