Faramarz Charges the King of Kabul

From C9.6, Faramarz Avenges Rostam. It illustrates C9.6.11–14:

  • C9.6.11
Then Faramarz advanced before his force,His eyes fixed on the king throughout his course.
  • C9.6.12
Tabiras of both armies shook the ground; The restless fighters stirred at every sound.
  • C9.6.13
With his slight force he charged the center’s might,And hurled himself into the thick of fight.
  • C9.6.14
The riders’ dust made all the daylight dim;Kabul’s king fell a captive there to him.
