- E6.25.116The mountain blocked its end; no troops stood near,And no man raised a shield to guard his rear.
- E6.25.117That glorious youth dismounted there to scaleThe stony heights on foot along the trail.
- E6.25.118His path was blocked; his heart was sore with dread;He could not stay, could not advance ahead.

- E6.25.123With You, I need not raise a pleading cryTo Saturn or to Mercury on high.”
- E6.25.124Before that prayer had wholly left his breath,Soroush appeared and saved him out of death.
- E6.25.125Robed green, he rode upon a snow-white steed,And strength returned to Khosrow in his need.
- E6.25.126He grasped the prince’s hand; for God Most HighCan work such wonders underneath the sky;
