Golshahr Brings Jarireh to Siavash
From B9.34, Siavash Weds Piran’s Daughter. It illustrates B9.34.27–32:
- B9.34.27Golshahr then brought her daughter forward dressed,A coronet of gold adorned her crest.
- B9.34.28With diba, dinars, silver, fragrant gold,And costly ornaments of finest mold.
- B9.34.29She shone as springtime shines in fullest flower,And they brought her before the prince that hour.
- B9.34.30They joined her to the prince with honor due,And led her to her royal station new.
- B9.34.31None could recount the wealth that with her came;A golden jeweled throne enhanced her fame.
- B9.34.32When Siavash beheld her beauty rare,He smiled with joy, and gladness ended care.
