Farangis Comes to Siavash by Night
From B9.37, The Marriage of Siavash and Farangis. It illustrates B9.37.29–32:
- B9.37.29“Go now and seek the bride without delay;Bring Farangis to Siavash today.”
- B9.37.30She went to Farangis and made it known:“Tonight, like moonlight, you adorn his throne.”
- B9.37.31They robed the bride in all her bridal grace,And laid black musk upon her rose-bright face.
- B9.37.32Like a new moon she entered, soft and bright,And came before the young Shah in the night.
